Effective strategies can help students develop a strong foundation in mathematical concepts, enhance their problem-solving skills, and cultivate a positive attitude toward the subject. High-leverage practices (HLP) provide teachers with a set of research-supported strategies that offer a framework to plan, implement, and assess instruction in a way that maximizes student learning. For this assignment, complete the Effective Mathematics Strategies Across Grade Levels template. In this template you will include the following:

• Mathematics standard for each grade band (K-5, 6-8, 9-12): Choose one specific math standard from your states OHIO mathematics standards that you would like to focus on for this assignment. The standard should align with a grade within the noted grade band.
• Measurable objective: Develop a measurable objective for the chosen math standard. Your objective should clearly state what students will be able to accomplish and how it will be measured. Ensure that the objective is specific, observable, and attainable.
