How do I know that an intervention is effective? How do I know it is a behavior analytic intervention? These are questions you may find yourself asking when you are working in the field. ABA is evidence-based, which means that in your career you will need to research interventions and find supporting evidence for your treatment plans.

If you have not already, select the intervention you would like to research. You can select one of the following or email your professor for approval of a topic that is not listed.

Identify which basic concepts of ABA are present in the intervention you have selected. This information needs to be supported with 12 research articles. The research articles will not need to be summarized in full. Instead, you will use the information from the articles to support the basic ABA principles that you have determined are a part of the intervention.
